Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI), a German-Ukrainian joint venture, plans to manufacture at least 10,000 drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine at its production facility in Germany in 2026.

The initial phase of production has already begun, the company confirmed. Ahead of the Munich Security Conference, the QFI production site was visited by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius. During the visit, President Zelensky received the first Linza 3.0 drone manufactured in Germany — a Ukrainian-developed system created by Frontline Robotics. The production line was presented by QFI Chief Executive Matthias Lena together with Mykyta Rozhkov, Chief Business Development Officer at Frontline Robotics.
During the demonstration, the team showcased the drone assembly process and conducted an inaugural test flight.

Linza 3.0  is an upgraded bomber drone already used by more than 60 Ukrainian military units. The 12-inch aircraft is equipped with an AI-based visual-inertial navigation module and can carry a payload of up to 4 kg over distances of up to 15 km. Its flight endurance is rated at approximately 60 minutes.

According to the company, QFI plans to automate production to meet growing demand from Ukraine and is also exploring opportunities to scale manufacturing capacity for the broader European market. Quantum Systems and Frontline Robotics announced the launch of their joint venture Quantum Frontline Industries in December 2025.
The partnership became the first joint venture established under the Build with Ukraine, initiative, aimed at strengthening international cooperation in defence technology and expanding industrial production capacity for Ukrainian-developed solutions.
