In Kyiv, during the Third Defense Industries Forum, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with heads of international and Ukrainian investment funds and business associations, including Valeriia Fadieienko, Principal at Angel One Fund.
The participants discussed how to scale up Ukraine’s defense capabilities through innovation, technology, and private capital.
President Zelenskyy emphasized that “the potential production of drones and missiles alone will amount to USD 35 billion in 2026,” highlighting the rapid growth of Ukraine’s defense and technology sector.
Together with representatives of D3 Venture Capital Firm, Double Tap Investments Ltd, ADS Group, AHK Ukraine – German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Defence Builder, MITS Capital, United Tech Assets, Invest in Bravery, Baryon Investment Fund and others, the participants confirmed their readiness to increase investments in defense technology production in Ukraine to strengthen the country’s defense capabilities and stimulate further technological development.
